The time-base unit core component is a 16-bit divider that determines the function of the timing reference by dividing the timer clock .

The calculation formula of the reference clock can be known according to the manual:

T = (Divider register +1)/tim clock

Note that the Tim clock size, take TIM2 as an example, although it is mounted on the APB1 bus, the PCLK clock is 36Mhz, but TIM2 get 72Mhz. all common timer clock frequencies mounted on the APB1 bus are 72Mhz;

A universal register of four channels , each channel equivalent to an interrupt trigger source , you can set a count value, when the Tim Count value and this count value is equal , the interrupt is triggered.
