Because a 7.04 disk was carved earlier, after installation, it was found that it was not supported and had to download the latest version.

But now there is no empty Disk Burning, there is no way to use the hard disk to install.

You can edit/boot/GRUB/menu. lst and add

Title 1. Install Ubuntu
Root (hd0, 0)
Kernel/Casper/vmlinuz boot = Casper iso-Scan/filename =/ubuntu. ISO Ro quiet splash-
Initrd/Casper/initrd. LZ

Remember to copy the downloaded file to the C: root directory, or the first partition of the primary partition, and name the original file ubuntu. ISO.

Then, decompress the files in the CD image and put them in the directory/Casper. Then, go to grub and select "Install ".
