Ubuntu Install Genymotion Simulator steps

1. Installing Vitrualbox

Genymotion simulator needs to have VirtualBox environment, open terminal (CTRL + ALT + T), execute the following command:

sudo apt-get install VirtualBox

2. Download the appropriate version of the Genymotion emulator

CD into the installation package path, execute

　chmod +x genymotion-2.2.2_x64.bin ( give execute permission)

./genymotion-2.2.2_x64.bin (for installation)

After decompression, enter the extracted directory, click Genymotion, Open, the rest is the graphical operation.

If you encounter an emulator that cannot start, the workaround:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-toolchain-r/test

sudo apt-get update

The reason is that Ubuntu uses GCC 4.8.4 by default and lacks the following listed files:

/usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.20‘ not found
