The Ubuntu display system xterm focuses on setting up display variable and ensuring that Ubuntu and SuSE Ping each other on the same network segment, redirecting images using the Ssh-xy way.
1. Direct Ssh-xy [email protected] login can display the image, you can not continue
The way to set up Dispaly is:
Ubuntu system: Run command:> Xhost + to turn on Ubuntu access restrictions.
Run command: >echo $DISPLAY get ubuntu display variable value, which is useful for setting the display variable on SuSE.
Run the command: >ping suse_ip_address to ensure that SuSE and Ubuntu can connect directly.
Run command: >ssh-xy [email protected]_ip_address. The XY option in SSH is what makes image redirection work.
On SUSE system: Run command:> export Display=ubuntu_ip_address:ubuntu_display_number. Sometimes you don't need to set
Run the command:> Echo $DISPLAY see if the setting is successful.
Run the command: CD to the directory of the program you want to run, run the program, the program's graphical interface will be redirected to the Ubuntu desktop.
