In general, the load amount of the online ups should be controlled in 70%~80%, while the load of the standby UPS should be controlled in 60%~70%. Note that too much light load is not good, although not as serious as overload.

3, the protection of good batteries. A very important component of UPS is the battery. At present, most small and medium ups use a sealed lead-acid battery without maintenance. Although on the surface it does not need maintenance, but poor care, the same will be wrong, not to mention the battery is very expensive. Data from the UPS Maintenance department indicate that about 30% of the UPS damage is actually just a battery failure. Therefore, the key to maintain the UPS is to maintain the battery. Comparatively speaking, the battery is more delicate, the request in 0~30℃ environment work, 25 ℃ the highest efficiency. Therefore, in winter and summer must pay attention to the UPS working environment. High temperature will shorten the battery life, the temperature is low, will not reach the nominal delay.

4, regular maintenance. In general, you should measure the battery's terminal voltage to the UPS in half a year. If the voltage exceeds 1V should use a balanced constant voltage limit (0.5A) charge, if it does not work, can only change new batteries. If the local long-term uninterrupted power outage, must be regular (three months) artificial interruption of power supply, so that ups with load discharge. Because the long time did not break the electricity, so you always think it is in the normal work, and in fact, once the power off, it can only provide a very short delay or even no delay, the reason is that the battery is in the floating charging state for a long time.
