Today, WebGIS is very popular, and 3D-like WebGIS has sprung up. Guangzhou's local surveying and mapping enterprises http://www.o.cn/are even more popular. All over the subway stations use their maps, and their names are soaring. Can MapXtheme be used for development to implement similar functions? The answer is yes, but the most basic is to use the map http://www.o.cn/to implement it. In the GIS field, there is an important concept "raster", which means map to a matrix, a bit like a common BMP image, path, polygon, and element, all are described in pixels in The Matrix. In addition to data in the TAB table, MapInfo also supports raster layers. Is it feasible to insert aerial photos or paper map scan files into MapInfo as raster images as layers? First, we obtain satellite, aerial photography, and 3D map images from various channels. Open MapInfo Professinal (8.0 here), use the Open function, select Raster Image in "file type", and select an Image file in the hard disk. After opening the page, the system prompts us to only browse images or register raster images. We choose to register. Then you can see the registration form, which means that you can manually set some points in the map image and set the longitude and latitude. After setting up some ing points (at least three), click OK To Get A Raster image. Come back and check out a TAB file in the directory of this image! Through this file, we can create layers in MapXtreme! During development, we still use FeatureLayer to create layers through this TAB file. Since the ing to the image file is 45 degrees skewed, I am worried that the image layer does not match the original layer angle. However, this concern is redundant. The powerful MapInfo map engine has used the ing just now to calculate the inclination and displayed it with the original layers! Next, let's take a look at what is written in the TAB file :! Table
! Version 300:
! Charset WindowsSimpChineseDefinition Table
File "图 .jpg"
Type "RASTER"
(113.319415, 23.143873) (4905,824) Label "Pt 1 ",
(113.3100029, 23.13663553) (3902,735) Label "Pt 2 ",
(113.3226422, 23.12986439) (,) Label "Pt 3"
CoordSys Earth Projection 1, 0
Units "degree"
In general, the TAB file defines the table in plain text. Here, the table type is "RASTER", and then the ing of three points. The same applies to other map images. You can use this method to create a satellite map and a MapInfo map! PS: Please follow a valid method to obtain map images.
