UWB: Bluetooth Terminator?

Will UWB replace bluetooth technology? At least for the moment, the answer is no.
First, they have different application fields. Bluetooth technology is widely used in PDA, mobile phone, printer, notebook and other terminal devices in the 2.4GH ISM band that does not need to be applied. The communication speed is usually below 1 Mbps, and the communication distance can reach 10 meters or more, while the communication distance of the ultra-broadband technology may be less than 10 meters, but the communication speed can reach several hundred Mbps.
In terms of technology and standards, UWB can be regarded as a communication method that uses a special radio wave to transmit data at a high speed. The relevant communication protocols or standards are constantly being validated and improved. The Bluetooth technology already has a relatively complete communication protocol, which is a standard of short-range wireless connection technology, the essence is to establish public standards for general radio air interfaces and their control software.
In fact, a more accurate description of the relationship between the two is integration. This integration is based on the mutual competition between the two technologies.
