1 Projection of images
To open the image first, the Toolbox-data Management tools-projections and Transformations-define Projection when selecting the projection with select-projected Coordinate Systems-gauss kruger-xian1980 or generally set to beijing54 (utm--wgs1984--wgs1984 UTM Zone 48N prj)-finally depending on your image selection, such as your shadow Like a 38-degree band with a 3-degree band, choose Xian 1980 3degree GK cm 114E. If the image is added with a number, select Xian 1980 GK cm 114E.
As for position translation, it can be done with grid registration.
First in the image of the properties of the image to read the four-corner coordinates of a new text file, each line of the original x-coordinate of the original y-coordinate the new x-coordinate with a space separated by a total of 4 lines, representing four angles of X, y new and old coordinates open the Grid registration toolbar, point the last Link Table button, Load the text file that you just built. Then press the adjustment in the Grid Registration toolbar menu to save the file.
2. Calibration
Two. Then add the image of the pre-correction in ArcMap. Load the georeferencing (image Registration) tool, and on its toolbar, click on the "Add Control Point" button. Then add control points.
Steps to add a control point:
1. For example, if the image you want to register is downloaded from Google Earth, you can add a few iconic landmarks to Google Earth (preferably more than 8), 3, 4
2. Record the latitude and longitude when marking each iconic landmark. Because we chose "degrees and seconds" before, we would like to convert the degrees that we read on Google Earth into decimal (which can be used in Excel).
3. You should then correct the image in ArcMap. For each landmark in the second step, add the corresponding control points and enter their actual coordinates. Latitude-y value, longitude-x value.
Three After you add the control points, you can open the view Linked table button on the Georeferencing toolbar and open the link tables to save the control points you added above. If the control point is particularly large for the residuals, it should be deleted and the control point should be re-selected.
Four Under the Georeferencing menu, click Rectify, and save the image file that was just right. The corrected image is then loaded and the original image is removed.
