VGA interface timing, field synchronization signal VSync at the beginning of each frame (that is, send a full screen image) to produce a fixed-width high pulse, the line synchronization signal HSync at the beginning of each line to produce a fixed-width high pulse, color data at some fixed row and column interchange valid.
As mentioned earlier, we typically drive the generation of a VGA signal with a reference clock, using this reference clock as the time unit to generate the timing.
For a standard VGA display driver with a refresh rate of 60Hz and a resolution of 640x480, if its reference drive clock is 25MHz, its pulse count table is shown below. Note that the column is in rows, and the line is in the base clock period, which is the number of 25MHz clock pulses.
