VirtualBox also has the functionality of shared folder similar to VMware. Allows files to be shared between hosts and virtual machines.

Environment:
Host: Windows XP
Virtual machine: Ubuntu 10.10
First step: Install the Vboxguestadditions tool. This is similar to VMware Tool. But much easier to install. The Vboxguestadditions.iso in the VirtualBox installed directory is added to the VirtualBox virtual CD drive. Mount the optical drive. After obtaining root permission, run sh./vboxlinuxaddtions.run install. It will be all installed in a minute. Reboot!
Step two: Find the shared folders setting in the VirtualBox menu. Add or modify a folder on a local host as a shared folder. Note the folder name item will be used when the virtual machine mounts the directory. Note the option to remove the auto-mount. Otherwise, the virtual machine that is started will mount automatically. (Mostly I don't know where the mount is ...)
Step three: Enter Mount-t vboxsf [Folder Name]/mnt/share in the shell (last is the directory you want to mount, you can modify it yourself). You can see the shared content in it.
Incurable diseases: I have encountered/sbin/mount.vboxsf:mounting failed with the Error:invalid argument error. The problem should be a duplicate mount of the same shared Folder. The solution is to remove the Auto-mount first, and then check if you have just been manually mount.
