VMware changes the size of the virtual disk. a command line tool --vmware-vdiskmanager.exe is available in the vmware6.0installation directory. ProgramCan be used to modify the disk size of a virtual machine. The method is as follows:
1. Power off the virtual machine; start the command prompt interface CMD in windows;
2. Run the CD command to enter the installation directory of VMware (for example, C:/program files/vmware workstation). Enter "vmware-vdiskmanager" and press the Enter key, the command description is displayed.
3. Execute the following command:
Vmware-vdiskmanager-x 20 GB "G:/vmware/Windows 2003/Windows 2003. vmdk"
Parameter-X indicates that the disk space of the virtual machine is to be extended. The following number indicates the size to be extended (for example, 20 GB, indicating the total disk volume, including the original disk capacity ); finally, the specific file of the virtual machine to be operated.
If the path name contains spaces, it must be enclosed in double quotation marks.
Wait for execution. After the execution is complete, exit the Command Prompt window and restart VMware. At this time, the hard disk space of the VM has changed to 20 GB. The above operations
