One, VSphere 6 turns on nested virtualization

A virtual machine named CentOS 7 has been created through vsphere client and now requires the virtual machine's nested virtualization capabilities to be opened.

1. Open the SSH service on the ESXi server and shut down the virtual machine

2. Find the virtual machine configuration file and modify the configuration file

[[Email protected]:~]# Find/-name *.VMX

/vmfs/volumes/570794cb-7a2de328-398b-000c294ee9b7/centos7/centos7.vmx

Modify the configuration file (add vhv.enable = "TRUE" in the last line of the configuration file), note that you cannot have a blank line

[[Email protected]:~]# sed-i ' $ a\vhv.enable = ' TRUE ' '/vmfs/volumes/570794cb-7a2de328-398b-000c294ee9b7/centos7/ Centos7.vmx

3. Verify that nested virtualization is turned on

[[email protected] ~]# egrep ‘(vmx|svm)‘ /proc/cpuinfo

4. Using Vcenter to open a single set of nested virtualization

Second, the VSphere server directly above the open

[[email protected] ~]# Vi/etc/vmware/config

vhv.enable = "TRUE" #增加这一行 and restart Vsphere server to enable virtual machine nested virtualization
