Vmware Workstation provides three virtual switches (VMNET0,VMNET1,VMNET8) By default, three virtual switches feature, and three different networking effects, and this experiment uses VMNET1 virtual switches for networking

Based on the following virtual network topology diagram briefly describes VMnet1:

Extension Park Description:

Physical Machine A: Install VMware Workstation Physics Machine, call it the host

Physical Machine B: represents another or more computers on the same physical LAN as the host

Computer Z: Represents other computers or servers above the Internet

Virtual Machine (A11,A12,A13): Connect to VMnet1 Virtual Switch via virtual NIC

After installing VMware Workstation, a VMNET1 virtual network card is generated by default on the host computer, which is connected to the VMNET1 Virtual switch via this virtual network card

Another: In fact, and each virtual switch also has a virtual DHCP server connected with it, in the topology is not drawn on the map

VMnet1 Virtual Switch, host-only Network (HOST-ONLY):

The effect of networking is to have a network connection with only the host or other virtual machines connected to the VMNET1 switch.

Other words:

Virtual machines in 1.vmnet1 (A11,A12,A13) and VMnet8 (A81,a82), VMnet0 (A01,A02,A03), cannot access each other

Virtual machines (A11,A12,A13) in 2.vmnet1 and other physical machines (physical machine B) that host the physical network are not accessible to each other

Virtual machines in 3.vmnet1 and hosts on the internet (computer Z) cannot access each other

4.a11,a12,a13 and physical host, must be within the same network segment, and shut down the system from the firewall, in order to communicate with each other
