Because sharepoint2010 requires a 64-bit environment, it can only be used by virtual machines. Unfortunately, VPC does not support 64-bit guest OS. hyper-V can only run on win2008r2, while my host is a win7 32-bit system. Then we use VMware.
After downloading vmware7.0 and installing it, the 64-bit win2008r2 can be installed smoothly, and sharepoint2010 can be installed again. However, a major problem is found during the process. VMWare often gets stuck, causing the host system to lose response! In addition, the guest system feels very inefficient and slow! Then try to adjust the number of CPU cores and the virtualization engine!
In this case, is it because my host is a 32-bit operating system that causes VMware to be so slow? Because I used VMWare for a while, I feel that it is still very fast. Just take a weekend! Change the host system to win7 64-bit!
It was a bit of a fight, and the host also turned into a 64-bit operating system. it was normal to turn VMWare on and run virtual machines and wow! No more cards .......
