INTUOS2 Digital Board

1. Open painter 8 software, press "CTRL + N" key combination to create a blank file, set the appropriate resolution and image size. Press the "Ctrl+4" key combination to open "Layers" (The Layers panel), a new layer named sketch, set to "Multiply" (multiply). (Figure 1.1) Press "B" to switch to the Brush tool, select the brush variant of "pencils"/"2B Pencil" (Pencil/2b pencil), select a medium gray in the color panel, and draw a Baimiao draft for the whole. (Fig. 1.2) since the Wacom Intuos2 Digital Board fully supports the brushes in the painter software, the 1024-level pressure sensing function allows 2B pencil to be painted with paper identical.

2. Create a new layer named line. (as shown in Figure 2)

3. Use black, choose "Calligraphy"/"Dry Ink" (Calligraphy pen/dry pen) of the brush variant, in line layer on the drawing of ink draft processing. (Fig. 3) There are many expressions in freehand brushwork style of Chinese painting, here we still use the Moxian to erect the bone with a comparatively conservative method. "Dry Ink" variant of the feeling is very similar to the traditional dry brush, and the changes in strokes and brushwork pressure is very large, especially with the use of INTUOS2 Digital board, since INTUOS2 can automatically identify our brushwork angle and pen, more can "Dry Ink" Brush characteristics to play incisively and vividly.
