Improvement is a part of life, we can see a lot of things have fully tapped its potential, but for our daily use of wireless?

Wireless is just around us and it's something we get used to. Sometimes it's harder to find a business or a public place without a wireless network than a wireless network. So, can wireless really improve?

Whether it's in the lobby or the living room, we all want smooth audio and video. As the number of wireless devices increases rapidly, how can we allow wireless networks to service all connected devices? Wireless controllers may be the solution. With the first wave of 1.3Gbps speed, we can respond to the constant "bombardment" access Point (AP) of a large number of requests, but, in the dense environmental equipment continues to increase, the second wave appears.

What's so different about the second wave? The most obvious is the potential bandwidth up to 7.8Gbps. This is a big leap. In addition, there are new attachments known as multiuser MIMO (Mu-mimo). That sounds interesting, doesn't it? So what can Mu-mimo offer us? Wireless typically attempts to process a single communication between the client and the AP. The difference between mu-mimo is that it can interact with multiple users at the same time. The traditional single user MIMO is compared to the hub (+ this station micro-letter networkworldweixin), while multiuser MIMO is more like a switch. This improvement, along with higher bandwidth potential, can help address the congestion problems of many wireless networks today.

What about the price? We can't just look at the price (which is of course a consideration), but also the cost of infrastructure. When you consider that a typical AP may have only 1000 gigabit connections, moving from 1000 trillion to several times higher speeds can cause problems. How about the future impact? How many drop does it take to run an access point? Do I need multiple connections?

Cisco has started trying to deal with this possibility through gigabit switches. Other vendors will also provide their own solutions. This may be difficult to decide before we see the future of the AC second wave access point, but should be prepared and considered for potential options.
