F3: When you press F3 on the Explorer or desktop, the Search for Files window appears, so if you want to search for a file in a folder, pressing the F3 key quickly opens the search window, and the search scope has been set to this folder by default. Similarly, when you press it in Windows Media Player, a window with the "Add to Media Library by search computer" appears.
F4: This key is used to open the Address bar list in IE, to close the IE window, you can use the ALT+F4 key combination.
F5: Used to refresh the contents of the current window in IE or Explorer.
F6: Can quickly navigate to the Address bar in the explorer and IE.
F7: Nothing works in Windows, it works in a DOS window that shows some of the most recently used DOS commands, that is, when you enter commands at the command line, the system automatically records them, but you need to enter the same command again, just press the up and down arrow symbol to bring up the corresponding command. The same F7 is to enumerate all the used, the record will be emptied after closing the window.
F8: When you start your computer, you can use it to display the boot menu. F9: It doesn't work in Windows either. However, it can be used in Windows Media player to quickly lower the volume.
F10: To activate a menu in Windows or programs, press SHIFT+F10 to appear with the right-click shortcut menu. In Windows Media Player, it is the ability to increase the volume.
F11: Enables the current Explorer or IE to become full-screen.
F12: It doesn't work in Windows either. But in Word, pressing it quickly pops up a window that is saved as a file.
