Windows 7, as a new-generation Microsoft operating system, has seen a rising market share and a growing number of compatible software since its official launch in last October. According to Microsoft Data, nearly software have passed the Windows 7 compatibility certification.
IT is reported that Microsoft provides a Windows 7 program compatibility list for IT professionals, which can be found in the list. This list was last updated in March 9, with 9619 software versions, all of which have been certified for Windows 7 compatibility.
The software that passes the Windows 7 compatibility certification means that it meets Microsoft's compatibility testing requirements for 32-bit and 64-bit Windows 7 systems and passes the installation, performance, reliability, and security tests designed by Microsoft. Of course, there are still a large number of software that may run perfectly on Windows 7 even if they have not been certified. This requires Microsoft to continue to improve and update the number of compatible software in the follow-up work.
