Problem:
The Wired router is connected to the Internet. A new wireless router is purchased to expand the network interface and supports wireless connection.
Note:
The default IP address of the vro may be 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1. the user name and password are generally admin: Admin or admin + blank.
Assume that the IP address of the wired router is 192.168.0.1.
One wireless network has a subnetwork.
The network cable from the LAN port of the wired router is connected to the WAN port of the wireless router, and the computer accesses the Internet through the wireless network configuration. The wireless router functions as a router.
For wireless routing, set wan to dynamic IP, and LAN to default, or 192.168.1.1.,The subnet mask is 255.255.255.0,,DHCP must be enabled.
In this case, wireless and wired network segments cannot access and share with each other, which is inconvenient.
2. Wireless and wired networks are in the same network
The network cable from the LAN port of the wired router is connected to the LAN port of the wireless router, and the computer then accesses the Internet through the wireless network. A wireless router acts as a vswitch.
The wireless router is set to Wan default (no need to set), LAN is set to a static IP under the wired network, such as 192.168.0.140, subnet mask is 255.255.255.0, and DCHP needs to be disabled.
In this case, all machines in the same network can easily access and share with each other.
