Wireless AP cannot connect too many devices

A wireless network and a wireless ap,8 wireless client. A further 10 wireless clients were added later. The original network used normally, but after the client, the transmission rate has dropped significantly.

Wireless APs or no wires can theoretically support 256 WiFi connections at the same time. But the reality is not so. In the process of use, an access point of more than 10 clients, performance will be rapidly weakened, resulting in a large network transmission rate drop. In addition, when many users visit at the same time, because the wireless AP performance is limited, the latency will become very large.

The following methods can be used to resolve:

1. Buy another wireless AP and set it to a different channel from the original AP. Connect them with a crossover line, or interconnect via a switch.

2. Develop an access point and lock each card. Add a wireless access point, form a wireless roaming network, the wireless network card from one AP to another access point, and then locked in the signal of the strongest access point.
