WMS Indicators in SAP (indicators for storage type)

1. Addition to existing the stock is not allowed to implement FIFO concept. Because FIFO is carried off based on the goods receipt date, if there is a addition to existing stock, the goods receipt Date of the quant being added was lost when the Quants was merged. This means, the quant always refers to the goods receipt Date of the first putaway.

2. Mixed storage (Mixed storage is allowed to implement FIFO concept. (FIFO enabled))

If more than one quant are to being stored in one storage bin, you have to allow mixed storage for the storage type.
