Tables inserted in Word 2007 use the Normal style by default. The user can use the most commonly used table style in the table Style Gallery as the default style so that the newly inserted Word 2007 table uses the style, as described in the following procedure:
Step 1th, open the Word 2007 document window and insert the table in any format first. Click the newly created table to switch to the Design tab in the Word 2007 Table Tools Ribbon. Then right-click any table style in the Table Styles group and select Set as default, as shown in the figure.

Step 2nd, open the Word 2007 Default table Style dialog box, select the all documents based on Normal.dotm template check box, and click OK, as shown in the figure.

Tip: If the user wants to restore the default table style for Word 2007, you can set the normal table style to default, as shown in the figure.
