This is a memory issue.
The solution is as follows (taking WINXP as an example ):
Find the xmind. ini file in C:/program files/xmind/and open it in notepad.
(For Mac OS, find the file in the corresponding installation folder)
Then, pull the line-XX: maxpermsize = 256m to the top of-vmargs.
In the following order:
-XX: maxpermsize = 256 m
-Vmargs
-Xms128m
-Xmx512m
Save the file, close it, and restart xmind.
If it still does not work, delete the four rows ...... However, this may cause other bugs.
Install xmind with a friend tonight, because his machine does not install Java JRE (JRE: http://www.java.com/zh_CN/download/index.jsp), which cannot be done at the end of xmind installation, view the installation details
We can see that Java JRE is automatically downloaded for installation, but why is xmind still not completed? I don't know why. Normally, the installation is complete. Press CTRL + ALT + DEL to disable it. Restart the PC and enable xmind.
It can be used normally. We recommend that you install Java JRE before installing xmind to avoid this situation.
After xmind is installed, I am used to the first thing to do is to remove automatic updates, so as not to check the update every time xmind is opened, which will affect the running speed of xmind. To remove the xmind automatic update method, choose Edit> preference> install/update> auto
Update: remove the "automatically search for new updates and notify me" hook.
Other ways to use xmind are just to draw a few more pictures, and be skillful. In the end, I wish you a happy xmind.
