XP shows what happened to the last CD content

What should be done to solve the problem?

This is a built-in feature of Windows XP called "CDROM Mirror" in a revolt. The principle is that when you put a disc in a the system automatically mirrors what the user has browsed on the disc in the cache, which ensures that the user can read the content repeatedly without having to read from the disc, thereby increasing the access speed, and that the mirror has a default time limit. It is generally the default 5 minutes after the operating system automatically reclaims the mirror to display the new content. Therefore, the replacement of the disc within a limited time may appear to show the phenomenon of old content. The way to solve this problem is as follows:

(1) on the system desktop, select "Start → Control Panel" in turn.

(2) In the pop-up window, double-click the "Administrative Tools" icon, and then select "Computer Management."

(3) in "Computer Management" expand the "storage → Removable Storage → library", in the window to the right, there will be installed on the local CD-ROM drive icon.

(4) Click the right mouse button on the optical drive icon and select "Properties". In the Properties dialog box, set enable drive to selected, and then change the default 5 minutes in deferred removal to 0 minutes.
