Yahoo Mail does not activate pop by default. However, after activating pop, you can use your outlook and Foxmail to directly send and receive emails, which is convenient and quick. You can use the following methods to enable pop receiving and SMTP sending functions in Yahoo Mail.
1. Go to http://www.yahoo.com and log on to Yahoo with your account.
2. paste the following link to the browser address bar. (Note: All rows are in one row)
Http://rd.yahoo.com/mail_us/options? Http://edit.my.yahoo.com/config/set_popfwd ?. Src = ym &. Done = http://us.f93.mail.yahoo.com/ym/Options? Yyyy = 22797
Activate the pop function of your mailbox as prompted.
3. Select "yes" in the registration item, and then select the content you are interested in. Other options can be selected as needed, and then click "finish.
4. Select "read emails and pop functions online". Select other options based on your needs and click "Submit.
5. register the client successfully. Set the client according to Yahoo's "Server Settings". The specific parameters are as follows:
Receiving mail (POP3) server: Pop. Mail. Yahoo. com
Use SSL, Port: 995
Sending mail (SMTP) server: SMTP. Mail. Yahoo. com
Use SSL, Port: 465, use authentication
Account name :????? Your username@ymail.com
Email Address :???? Your username@ymail.com
Password :?? ????? Your Yahoo! Mail Password
The setting of mail clients on a desktop computer, such as Windows Live Mail, is a little complicated. You need to manually set the above parameters. However, if you use a QQ mailbox, such as Foxmail, you only need to add the mailbox name. Basically, everything will be automatically set for you. We recommend that you use the online mail sending and receiving function in Foxmail.
