When carving in ZBrush, by using the Lazy Mouse function, you can make the brush strokes precisely across the surface of the model, creating a smooth curve, or a perfectly neat line through the entire surface. The Lazy mouse setting allows you to quickly and easily create any style of strokes as needed.
If we don't have a delayed mouse on, it's hard to make the strokes you draw very smooth. And there are certain situations, such as the seams on some clothes that need to be carved out, then we'll use the delayed mouse command.
Its startup shortcut is L, you can find it under the Stroke menu:
Lazystep: This is used to adjust the stroke spacing, controlled by the parameters. In some cases, this function is still useful, for example, if we want to carve the repetitive screws on the machine, then we can use this function.
Lazysmooth: This is to control the lazy mouse effect of strength, generally used very little.
Lazyradius: When we use lazymouse engraving, the brush will have a red line. The length of this root line is controlled by Lazyradius. The larger the parameter, the more accurate and smooth the lazymouse effect you get.
