Add Method (Folders)

Adds a new Folder to the Folders collection.

object.Add (folderName)

Parameters

Object

Required option. The name of the Folders collection should be.

FolderName

Required option. The name of the new Folder to Add.

Description

The following example illustrates how to create a new folder using the Add method.

function AddNewFolder(path,folderName){var fso, f, fc, nf;   fso = new ActiveXObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject");   f = fso.GetFolder(path);   fc = f.SubFolders;   if (folderName != "" )fc.Add(folderName);   elsefc.Add("New Folder");}

If the folderName already exists, an error occurs.
