In a Word2007 document, users can convert a specified cell or entire table in a Word table to text content (provided the Word table contains text), as described in the following procedure:
Step 1th, open the Word2007 document window and select the cells you want to convert to text. If you want to convert the entire table to text, just click any cell in the table. Switch to the Layout tab in the Table Tools Ribbon, and then click the Convert to Text button in the data group, as shown in Figure 2009021306.

Step 2nd, in the Open Table Convert to Text dialog box, select the paragraph mark, tab, comma, or other characters radio box. Selecting any of the tag symbols can be converted to text, except that the conversion produces a typographic style or adds a different markup symbol. The most commonly used are the paragraph mark and tab two options. Select Convert Nested table to convert the contents of a nested table to text at the same time. When you are finished, click the OK button, as shown in Figure 2009021307.
