August 12 News: Recently, Google Webmaster tools in the "Googlebot Crawl Mode" feature provides a new URL to Google to submit and update the method of collection of URLs. Allow webmaster to submit new site just launched, or add some new important new pages to help Google fast indexing site.
Google said that when the webmaster as successful as Googlebot crawl a URL, then, webmaster will be in Google Webmaster tools to submit the URL to Google's index this option. When the webmaster submits the URL in such a way, usually within a day, Googlebot will crawl the URL. Then, Google will consider whether to include it in Google's index. But please note that Google does not guarantee that every URL submitted in this way will be included; Google will still use the usual process-that is, Google's process of discovering other URLs to assess whether a URL is appropriate for Google's index.
This new feature can provide help for webmasters in a variety of situations: if the webmaster has just launched a Web site, or added some important new pages, the webmaster can ask Googlebot to find and crawl them immediately, rather than waiting for Google to find them. The webmaster can also submit a URL that has been included, but the content is updated to refresh these URLs, for example, if the webmaster updated some key content about the activities they will be hosting this weekend, and hope to ensure that Google sees these updates in time, the webmaster can turn to "Googlebot crawl Way". Or, the webmaster accidentally released some of the information inadvertently published, after the deletion of this information from the site, but also want to Google's cached version-a snapshot of the page to update, at this time, "Googlebot crawl Mode" can also provide help.
How to submit a URL
First, use "diagnostics" "Googlebot Crawl Way", grab the URL that the webmaster wants to submit to Google. If the URL is successfully crawled, the webmaster will see a new "submit to index" link next to the URL being crawled.
Once the webmaster clicks "Submit to Index", they will see a dialog box, let the webmaster choose whether to submit only a URL, or the URL and all the linked pages.
When submitting a single URL, Google's maximum weekly quota is submitted 50 times, and the limit is 10 times per month when submitting URLs with all linked pages. Webmasters can see the remaining number of submissions on the Googlebot crawl page. The page content on any URL submitted should be applied to Google Web search, so if the webmaster wants to submit an image or video, it should use the site map.
Submit URL to Google without review
In addition to this update on "Googlebot Crawl", Google also updated the "Add your URL to Google" form. The form is now renamed to a crawl URL form. It has the same quota limit for submitting pages to an index as the Googlebot crawl feature, but does not require the ownership of the Web site involved, so the webmaster can submit any URLs that they want to crawl and index.
Please note that Googlebot has been quite good at discovering and fetching new content in a timely manner, so webmasters do not need to force every change or update on the site to use this tool. However, if the webmaster want to speed up the crawl or collection of a URL, consider using the crawl URL form or the updated "Googlebot Crawl" feature in Webmaster tools to submit the URL.
