DNS is a domain name resolution system, it can convert IP to domain names, but also to convert domain names to IP
1. Install DNS Service
Start-〉 Settings-〉 Control Panel-〉 Add/Remove Programs-〉 Add/Remove Windows Components-〉 "network Services"-〉 select "Domain Name Service system (DNS)"-〉 Press OK to install
2. Create DNS phase Resolution Zone
Start-〉 program-〉 admin tools-〉 Select DNS, open the DNS console-〉 right-click the "Forward lookup zone"-〉 select "New Zone"-〉 select "Standard primary zone" (or Active Directory integrated zone or standard secondary zone)--〉 Enter domain name abc.com "-〉 Enter the file name" Abc.com.dns "for the area you want to save,-〉 finish creating
To create a host record, and so on:
Right-click "ABC.com"-〉 "new host"-〉 enter "www" at the name, enter "192.168.0.3" at "IP Address",-〉 Press "Add Host" to complete
3. Create DNS reverse Resolution Zone
Start-〉 program-〉 admin tools-〉 Select DNS, open the DNS console-〉 right-click Reverse Lookup zone-〉 select New Zone-〉 select "Standard primary zone"-〉 enter the "network ID" for the zone to be labeled-〉 Enter the name of the zone you want to save 0.168.192. In-addr.arpa.dns "-〉 completed, finished creating
Create pointer ptr:
Right-click "192.168.1.x.subnet"-〉 Select "New pointer"-〉 enter 2-〉 in Host name enter ftp-Click OK to complete add
4. Enable DNS cyclic multiplexing function
DNS each resolves in a different order if www.abc.com corresponds to multiple IP addresses
Right-click to select DNS Server-〉 Property-〉 Advanced-〉 Select Enable Loop (round robin)--〉 Select "Enable netmask Sort"-〉 Press "OK" to return
Note: If all IP and domain name servers need to cancel "enable netmask ordering" on the same subnet, they can realize the function of circular multiplexing. That is, when the loop is enabled, when the host's IP and DNS are always at the top of the same subnet, they do not cycle when they are on a subnet, and they can only be recycled if the "Enable netmask ordering" is removed.
The DNS server will give priority to returning records with the same network ID to the client
5, create a standard secondary zone, to achieve DNS zone replication
On another DNS server, right-click the forward lookup zone-〉 select New Zone-〉 Select Standard Secondary zone-〉 enter "abc.com"-〉 Enter the IP address of the primary Domain name server-〉 Select "Finish"
Synchronization can be requested manually:
On the secondary Domain name server, right-click the domain-〉 "abc.com" and select "Transfer from master server"
And you can set up a domain name server that allows transport:
On the primary Domain name server, right-click the domain of "abc.com"-〉 Select "Properties"-〉 Select "Zone Copy"-〉 to tick before "Allow Replication". and select the hosts that are allowed to replicate (to all servers, only servers listed on the Name Servers tab, only to the following servers)
To complete the conversion of the server type:
Right-click the zone-〉 select Properties-〉 Select the Change button for type-〉 Select the type of zone you want to change-〉 press OK
6, the implementation of DNS cache server only
Create a DNS server with no zones-〉 right-click the DNS server-〉 select Properties-〉 Select Forwarders to enable forwarders-〉 enter forwarders IP address-〉 Press OK to complete
To clear cache content in cache only:
Right-click DNS server-〉 Select Clear Cache
Alternatively, select "View" in the menu-〉 the "DNS server", and the Advanced-〉 right click "Cached Lookup"-〉 select "Clear Cache"
(Client empties DNS Cache-) Ipconfig/flushdns)
7. DNS delegation (the turn of the subdomain)
On the original domain name server to establish a "subdomain.abc.com" host-〉 right click on the abc.com domain, select "New delegation"-〉 Subdomain.abc.com's domain agent to the subdomain.abc.com host-〉 Establish a "forward standard zone" subdomain.abc.com-〉 on subdomain.abc.com to add related host records
8. Set up dynamic update of DNS zone
Right-click to select DNS on the Zone-〉 select Properties-〉 Select Allow dynamic Update in general,-〉 then press OK-〉 at the local DHCP server-〉 Right-click select DHCP Server-〉 Select "Properties"-〉 Select "DNS"-〉 Select " Enable updates for DNS clients that do not support dynamic updates-〉 use IPCONFIG/REGISTERDNS to update registration information for domain names on the client
Note the client needs to change the full computer name to Myhost.abc.com
9. Configuring DNS Clients
On the client computer, open the TCP/IP Properties dialog box and enter the IP address of the DNS server in the DNS server address bar
Configure up to 12 DNS servers manually
