There are four main modifier keys in Mac, Command,control,option and shift respectively. These four keys have their own patterns, they often appear in the Mac Application menu bar, so you can always learn new shortcut keys.

Basic shortcut keys

CommandIs the most important modifier key on your Mac, which in most cases is the equivalent of CTRL under Windows.

4. In the Finder text Manager

1	Command-shift-g	Bring up the window to enter the absolute path directly to the folder (Go)
2	Command-shift-n	New Folder (new)
3	Command-o	Open the selected item. Open file in Mac not like Windows directly press ENTER
4	Return	Click File, press to rename file
5	Space key	Quick view of selected files, i.e. preview function
6	Command-i	Show Introduction
7	Command-delete	Move a file to the trash
8	Command-shift-delete	Emptying the wastepaper basket
9	Command-Up ARROW	Open the folder containing the current folder, equivalent to the "Up" in Windows

2	Command-DOWN ARROW	Move the cursor to the end of the document
3	Command-LEFT Arrow	Moves the cursor to the beginning of the current line
4	Command-RIGHT Arrow	Moves the cursor to the end of the current line
5	Option-LEFT Arrow	Move the cursor to the beginning of the previous word
6	option-RIGHT Arrow	Move the cursor to the end of the next word
7	fn-Up ARROW	Scrolls up one page (page UP)
8	fn-DOWN ARROW	Scroll down one page (page down)
9	Fn-LEFT Arrow	Scroll to the beginning of the document (Home)
10	fn-RIGHT Arrow	Scroll to end of document (end)
11	Fn-delete	Equivalent to delete on the PC's full-size keyboard, which is deleted backwards
12	Command-b	Toggles the bold display of the selected text
13	Control-a	Move to the beginning of a line or paragraph

Shortcut keys for Mac startup and shutdown

Serial Number	Command	meaning
	Command-r	Press immediately after boot to open OS X recovery (Recovery)
	Option	Press immediately after power on, the boot manager will be displayed, if your Mac is equipped with a dual system or a bootable USB flash drive, you can select the Startup disk in the boot manager
	Command-option-p-r	Press and reset NVRAM immediately after booting. Sometimes the computer will have some minor problems, resetting NVRAM is your first choice in addition to restarting and trying to fix it.
	command-option-control-power button	Quit all apps, allow you to save documents, and then shut down
