Outlook is an essential software for the company. It is developed on mac. Of course, it uses the mac version of outlook. Today we will introduce how to set up automatic reply for outlook on mac.
There are two types of accounts: Exchange account and pop/imap account.
First, exchange account
1. Open outlook on mac.
2. Select Out of office from the menu Tools,

To have your Exchange account reply to new messages automatically (even when Outlook for Mac is not running ):
- SelectTools | Out of Office...From the menu in Outlook for Mac.
- Make sureSend Out Of Office messagesIs selected.
- Enter the desired message underReply to messages:
- Include when-or if-people mailing you in your absence can have CT a personal answer. This might be some time after you will have returned.
- Make sureMore optionsAre visible.
- If you know when you will be unavailable:
- Make sureI am out of the office.
- Enter the date and time you'll leave behind email underStart date:.
- Enter the date and time you'll be back underEnd date:.
- To have Exchange send messages not only to people in your organization:
- Make sureSend replies outside my company:Is checked.
- SelectAddress Book contacts onlyOrAnyone outside my company.
- Enter the desired message for the out-of-office reply for senders outside your organization underReply once to each sender outside my company:.
- You can leave out contact details in this message for the world, for example.
- ClickOK.
I will introduce the pop/imap method.
1. Select Rules in Tools,
3. This interface will appear.
4. the exchange type is not available here, so you can process the account type here. select your account type. My account is pop, so select pop on the left, and click the plus sign on the right. The configuration page is displayed. My configuration is as follows:
5. Click Reply Text..., enter your automatic Reply information, and click OK.
