UTF-8 encoding causes Chinese garbled characters in JS output

The encoding rules are UTF-8, such:
<Meta http-equiv = "Content-Type" content = "text/html; charset = UTF-8"/>
If the JS file contains Chinese output, garbled characters will occur. There are two ways to solve this problem:

1. Add charset = "gb2312" or charset = "big5" to reference the Javascript output (assuming the big5 traditional Chinese characters are output ).

Example:
<SCRIPT type = "text/JavaScript" Language = "JavaScript" src = "scripts/output. js" charset = "gb2312"> </SCRIPT>

2. Save the JS file as UTF-8 encoded.
