Usage of Word wildcard characters

1. Any single character

"?" Can represent any single character. How many "?" can be entered? It represents several unknown characters. For example:

Enter "?" You can find characters such as "China", "America", and "UK;

Enter "??? Country.

2. Any number of characters

"*" Can represent any number of characters. For example:

Enter "* Country" to find characters such as "China", "USA", and "Bangladesh.

3. One of the specified characters

The character in the "[]" box can be one of the characters to be searched, for example:

Enter "[China-US]" to find "China" and "United States ". Another example:

Enter "th [iu] g" to find "thigh" and "thug ".

Enter the "[Scholar] Shi" to find the "bachelor's degree", "Master's degree", and "doctor ".

Enter "[height]" to search for "height" and "height ".

If you enter "primary or secondary school", you will find "university", "Middle School", and "Primary School", but you will not find "university" or "school.

4. Any single character in the specified range

"[X-x]" can specify any single character in a certain range, for example:

Enter "[a-e] ay" to find "bay", "day", and other characters. Note that the characters in the specified range must be in ascending order. Another example:

5. Exclude any single character in the specified range

"[! "X-x]" can be used to exclude any single character in the specified range, for example:

6. Specify the number of previous characters

"{N}" can be used to specify the number of characters to be searched including the previous character, for example:

7. Specify the range of previous characters

11. Expression search

"()" Is especially used for the combination of multiple keywords.
