I am using the RedHat Linux 9.0 official kernel version: 2.4.20
After the xmms-1.2.10 is installed, the playlist is always garbled. It cannot be displayed in English or Chinese.
I made the following settings:
1. Use simsun and tahoma in windows. simsun is used in Chinese and tahoma is used in English.
2. Copy them to the/usr/share/fonts/zh_cn/TrueType directory.
3. reactivate the XFS font server. # service XFS reload
4. Set xmms to display the playlist correctly.
Use Ctrl + P to open the font configuration tab. Select the two tabs in the font tab.
Browse font, select use simsun: Click OK "-MISC-simsun-Medium-r-normal-*-120-*-C-*-koi8-r" will appear"
Copy or cut this section.
Browse the font and select tahoma.
"-Microsoft-tahoma-Medium-r-normal-*-120-*-p-*-viscii1.1-1", and then add a comma after this section, then
Paste the copy or cut section above. It will be:
"-Microsoft-tahoma-Medium-r-normal-*-120-*-p-*-viscii1.1-1, -MISC-simsun-Medium-r-normal-*-120-*-C-*-koi8-r"
Finally, the font of the rolling information of the main screen is consistent with that of the playlist. You can copy the above information directly.
"-Microsoft-tahoma-Medium-r-normal-*-120-*-p-*-viscii1.1-1, -MISC-simsun-Medium-r-normal-*-120-*-C-*-koi8-r"
Click "OK" and the song list will use simsum for Chinese and tahoma for English. (is it a big change)
