My environment is T42p, with IBMabg Nic, X31 secondary, with INTEL21003B Nic XP + SP2, Nic drivers are all up-to-date
1. Open your wireless network Connection Properties
2. Click "advanced" in the lower-right corner of the page and select "computer to computer only" at the bottom and "automatically connect to a non-preferred network" at the bottom"
3. Go back to the page in step 1. Click the Add button under the preferred network and enter the network name. In this example, "IBMNB01" removes the check mark "automatically providing key for me, change the data encryption option to "disabled". OK.
4. Enter the TCP/IP attribute of the wireless network card of the host, and enter the IP address and subnet mask. In this example, the IP address is 192.168.0.1 and the mask is 255.255.255.0.
5. Enter the TCP/IP attribute of the wireless network adapter on the secondary server, and select all IP addresses and DNS addresses as automatically obtained. OK.

Steps 1, 2, and 3 are the same operations on the master and slave machines, and must be set to the same on the two machines. Otherwise, the connection may fail.
4, 6, and 7 are dedicated to hosts, and 5 is dedicated to sub-hosts. After step 6 and Step 7 are completed, a prompt may be displayed, saying "the shared network cannot be implemented due to different IP addresses, ignore it. Just confirm it.
Step 2 shows a successful picture for both of them. As long as you ping each other's IP address, it means you can access the Internet, the Data Encryption Method in step 3 must be disabled. Otherwise, the data can be accessed normally.
