Azure Automation is an automated operational infrastructure built into azure, and Microsoft has launched a free ebook for everyone to download and read in order to get you started faster with this feature.
As Azure continues to land and expand across countries, Microsoft has also stepped up its evangelism efforts with Azure technology. Microsoft has recently started publishing a series of ebooks called "Microsoft Azure Essentials", the first to cover the fundamentals of Azure, and the second to detail the Azure automation features that are soon available on Azure.
This feature leverages a highly scalable workflow execution environment, a runbook based on the Windows PowerShell Workflow feature, that allows you to orchestrate tasks that are frequently deployed and require life cycle management. These execution books (runbooks) are stored and backed up by Azure.
This book is the Cardinal Scott Guthrie sequence, divided into 7 chapters:
- Introduction to Azure Automation: An Overview of azure automation
- Management of Runbooks: the way to manage Runbooks, Runbooks This is an organization and a logical container that contains Windows PowerShell workflows
- Resource management: Describes resource entities that can be used across multiple runbooks
- Deployment of Runbooks: Discuss how to publish them after you write and test the Runbook
- Azure Script Center, libraries, and communities: further explains Windows PowerShell workflow features and describes some of the Community resources available
- Best practices: Give some key recommendations for optimizing and maximizing your Azure automation
- Scenario: In-depth description of some typical scenarios related to daily work that can be applied to azure automation
In particular, if you do not want to learn about Azure Automation through an e-book, you can also watch lectures through the Microsoft Virtual Academy, such as the "Azure Automation service-driven automation management power in the Cloud", which the domestic lecturer 翟爽 and Xu Lei will share on May 13. The specific registration address can be searched by itself.
This ebook is available for download in PDF, epub, and Mobi formats, and "read original" is PDF.
