Free switching between the root user and the normal user in Ubuntu

Source: Internet
Author: User

1. Switch from the user to the root user

When we need to perform some root-permission operations (such as repairing system files), it is often necessary to use sudo to authorize them, which can be cumbersome.

At this point we can switch from the user to the root user, simply execute the instruction sudo su, and then enter the password.

2. From the root user, cut back to the user

When switching back from the root user to the user:

(1) can execute the command: SU User (user is your own installation time username) exit;

(2) or enter exit directly, then press ENTER to exit;

(3) can also ctrl+d the combination of keys to exit.
