I purchased one Fuji s200exr in March. Recently, the media hyped the snowflake door. I was very depressed and tested it myself to prove the existence of the snowflake.
:
The test was conducted around on May 9,. the ambient temperature is about 30 ℃ (Nanjing... outside the room in the building, especially hot ...), start the system and take a 300 + shot within 5 minutes before testing.
In raw format, the image is directly exported to JPG with a resolution of 5216x4216. The dead pixel test is used for thermal noise statistics.
The results show that the snowflake exists (the snowflake points are obviously visible to the naked eye on the 10 s exposure ). But to be honest, I still accept this result.
Under the ISO-100, the exposure to> 5 S has obvious snowflake, <5s when the snowflake basically does not (in the figure 1/50 s before several hot noise points are adjacent to the same point ), however, the 5 s snowflake is a bit depressing, and it is certain that there is a snowflake in the long exposure.
Under the ISO-200, very strange in the test of a short time exposure of Hot noise is very much, 1/50 s and then suddenly disappeared,> 5 s after hot noise crazy, it may be because the camera's own noise reduction design... It's strange that the iso200 won't be exposed for a long time, but the hot noise of a short time is depressing.
Under the ISO-400, the same very short time exposure thermal noise is very much, 1/s after to 1 s before there is no thermal noise, it is estimated that it is also the reason of noise reduction, after 1 s, you can't read it anymore... I am disgusted with myself...
The conclusion is: in the ordinary environment, thermal noise should not be a problem, (when using ISO-200, pay attention to some is), shutter from 1/1000 to 1 s basically no hot noise; long exposure under the noise will be more, from my previous shot a few exposures> 10 s ISO-100 film can see obvious snowflake points (premise is to enlarge to 100% ); do I have to take a short shot (<1/1000)? It seems that I haven't shot such a film, and I don't know when it will work.
In short, the hot noise problem exists, and there is no comparison with the results of other cameras, but I still can accept this result under the snowflake door. After all, the 2500 ocean camera, the overall performance is still acceptable, and there cannot be too many requirements.
Contentment.
