Genymotion Installing Google Play Service

As an Android developer, if you don't yet know genymotion, then you must be a beginner.

To install Google Service on genymotion, you essentially rely on CyanogenMod's gapps, so complete the process in a few steps.

Step One: Install ARM translation

Search results through Baidu did not have an article describing why to install arm translation. And many articles do not say to install this, so many friends find that they can not successfully install Google Service.

Here's why I'm talking about this.

First of all, Genymotion ROM is compiled by x86, so genymotion performance on a PC can be so fast. The carcinogen ' s GAPPS is compiled by arm. This is why most friends do not run successfully after installing GAPPS directly.

Click here to download Genymotion-arm-translation-v1.1.zip, after the download is complete, drag directly into the Genymotion simulator to install, after the installation is completed, you need to restart the simulator.

Step Two: Install Gapps

Gapps is divided into many versions, so please click below to choose the version that best suits your genymotion.

Android 5.0.x, Android 4.4.x, Android 4.3.x, Android 4.2.x, Android 4.1.x, Android 4.0.x, Android 2.3.3

After the download is complete, drag the zip into the genymotion to install it. This process a little longer than the previous time, so patience also need a little more, after the installation is successful, there will be a hint, as long as the "successfully" message, it means that the installation was successful.

It will still need to be restarted after installation.

After completing the first two steps, the installation of carcinogen ' s GAPPS is completed, but to run Google service normally, this is not finished, should be the following interface will pop up frequently, telling you that Google + needs to be reinstalled.

To see such a hint, do not lose heart, this is not a hint that the installation failed, on the contrary, it is gratifying that this information indicates that the installation has been successful.

Because the Google + version of Gapps is already obsolete. So just click "OK", fill in Google's account and password, and upgrade Google +.

It's important to note that upgrading Google + is a natural need to climb over that evil gfw.
