There are three ways to set fonts: Use the Formatting toolbar, the shortcut key, and the Font dialog box. The first two are quick and easy to set up for a small number of items, preferably with the Font dialog box if you want to set up more complex. The method is as follows:
1. Select the font you want to set.
2. Perform "format" → "font" to open the Font dialog box.
3. Switch to the Font tab, where you can set the font, glyph, font size, color, underline, effect, and so on. The following preview box allows you to view the effects of settings immediately. This example sets the selected text as follows: Chinese Xingkai, Bold, one, red, blue double underline, shadow, hidden.
Note: Setting the hidden blue underline is not displayed in the document, but it exists.
4. Click OK to confirm the settings and close the dialog box.
Tip: On the Font tab, click the Default button to save the current setting in the Normal template, and subsequent documents based on this template will take this modified default setting.
