This Photoshop tutorial is very long, at the same time in detail, through this PS tutorial you can also learn a lot of things, such as how to use PS PS liquefaction effect, how to use Photoshop creative 3D font, better grasp the application of PS layer and so on. Are you ready? Let's start with this detailed Photoshop tutorial.
Creating 3D effects in PS is a bit difficult, so, to make an effect like this, we need to use a little Xara 3D. But you can also use Cinema 4D or 3DsMax.
Here, you can also learn a little bit of Xara 3D tips. This tutorial is mainly about the use of layer styles (Layer style) and pen Tool. As you can see in the tutorial rendering preview, the effect is very spectacular and shocking. This image effect can be used to make a friend's birthday poster or to celebrate the holiday postcard. All right, let's get started!

Step: 1
We need to make each letter separately in 3D software, and you can use any one of your favorite software (3dsmax,cinema 4d,xara 3D). I'm using Xara, because it's simpler and less time-consuming to produce the same effect than others.
Step: 2
First, I'm going to start making the letter "C". As shown in the following figure or you can change your preferences to other colors or styles. I chose blue for my "C".
(Figure: 01)
Color of choice:
Surface (face): 2e81b1
Text Edge (text Side): 2e81b1
Lamp 1 (Light 1): A1E9F9
Lamp 2 (Light 2): 7495AF
Lamp 3 (Light 3): A1E9F9
(Figure: 02)
The font I use is Angsana New font. Other options such as extrusion (highlighting), Bevel options (bevel option), and Shadow (Shadows) selections are shown in the following illustration.
(Figure: 03)
The shadow will not be used. Rotate the letter until you are satisfied. Render this image "PNG" format so that the "C" letter has no background.
(Figure: 04)
Step: 3
Now we're going to make the letter "O". As shown in the following figure.
(Figure: 05)
Color of choice:
Surface (face): E935CG
Text Edge (text Side): E935CG
Lamp 1 (Light 1): F7dfb6
Lamp 2 (Light 2): 6a335d
Lamp 3 (Light 3): FF9AF3
Highlight options: Depth (depth:25); Frame width (outline width): 20; front and rear gloss (gloss both): Front and back surfaces (front face and behind face).
Bevel options: curve (curved) and depth: 20.
Step: 4
Here I use the same technique to make the letter "L".
(Figure: 06)
Color of choice:
Surface (face): 2eb17c
Text Edge (text Side): 2eb17c
Lamp 1 (Light 1): 80db9c
Lamp 2 (Light 2): 74af88
Lamp 3 (Light 3): A1F9B5
Highlight options: Depth (depth:16); Frame width (outline width): 31; front and rear gloss (gloss both): Front and back surfaces (front face and behind face).
Bevel options: curve (curved) and depth: 20.
Step: 5
Once again, use the steps above to make another letter "O".
(Figure: 07) Selected colors:
Surface (face): FAFF32
Text Edge (text Side): 7d7e35
Lamp 1 (Light 1): FBF183
Lamp 2 (Light 2): e5e32f
Lamp 3 (Light 3): f7e529
Highlight options: Depth (depth:16); Frame width (outline width): 31; front and rear gloss (gloss both): Front and back surfaces (front face and behind face).
Bevel options: curve (curved) and depth: 20.
Step: 6
OK, last letter, "R".
(Figure: 08)
Color of choice:
Surface (face): A30fe7
Text Edge (text Side): 624f78
Lamp 1 (Light 1): c483f9
Lamp 2 (Light 2): ebc8f9
Lamp 3 (Light 3): cda1f9
Highlighting options: Depth (depth:16), frame width (outline width:31), front and rear gloss (gloss both): Front and back surfaces (front face and rear face).
Bevel options: curves (curved) and depth: 20
Step 7
Okay, now let's get to work on Photoshop. Let's make the background first. I use the size specification is 2200x1375px, the fill color is black. Then I used the wood texture at the center of the picture, reducing the saturation, clicking on the blending options (blending options) and wiping the wood texture from the corners.
(Figure: 09)
Step 8
I also use wrapping paper (wrapped Paper), reducing saturation, blending options to layered (difference), opacity (Opacity) set to 55%. And then with a large pixel
Soft Eraser wipes away most of the edge.
(Figure: 10)
Step 9
In addition, I will use the texture of stars and galaxies in my image. Of course you can find a type of picture from the Internet. Erase part of the star and the galaxy in different colors until you think it's the most beautiful. Make sure you set the blending options oh, I use the screen.
(Figure: 11) What I have just used is the adjustment layer (adjustment Layer) in the gradient map (gradient map), one side is from purple to orange, the blending option is soft (Soft Light), and the opacity is set to 55.
