If your computer has a sound card and a microphone, you can also record a sound annotation, which is added to the comment box as a sound object.
Insert a sound annotation
You can do this by following these steps:
1. Open the document for review, perform the view → toolbars → review, and display the Reviewing toolbar.
2. Place the cursor where you want to insert a sound annotation, or select the annotation object.
3. Click the Insert Sound button on the toolbar to see the horn icon at the cursor location and the recorder program to run automatically.
Tip: If you want to insert a sound into a text annotation box, you can place the insertion point in the comment box, then insert → object, select wave sound in Object type in the new tab, click OK, and then proceed to the following action.
4. Click the "Recording" button in the recorder to record the computer microphone. If you see a sound waveform in the Recorder window, the sound annotation is inserting the document.
5. After recording, click the "Stop" button in the recorder, and then save the document in the usual way.
Second, play and edit sound annotations
You can play, edit, or open a sound annotation by right-clicking the horn icon in the sound annotation and selecting the appropriate command under Tape Recorder Object on the shortcut menu.
Note: To display the related menu commands, this example displays balloons to the left of the document.
