To control line wrapping and paging for paragraphs, follow these steps:
1. Select the paragraph for which you want to control line wrapping and pagination, or place the insertion point in this paragraph.
2. Perform "format" → "paragraph" → "line and page break" tab.
3. In this tab, the following options are available:
Widow and Orphan control: Select to prevent the first line of a paragraph from appearing at the bottom of the page, or to prevent the last line of a paragraph from appearing at the top of the page.
Paragraph does not page: Make a paragraph not divided into two pages.
Same page with lower end: The selected paragraph is on the same page as the next paragraph.
Pre-paragraph page: Inserts a manual page break before the selected paragraph to force pagination.
Cancel line number: Cancels the line number in the selected paragraph. For more information, see "Getting Started with Word animation tutorial 24: Line numbering settings."
Cancel hyphenation: Suppresses hyphenation in the selected paragraph (described in the word "hyphenation" section).
4. When you are finished, click "OK" button.
