Build the development environment

To develop with HiAR SDK for Unity, install the following software and configure it.

• Unity
  Integrated development Environment
• QuickTime (v1.1.x and later versions no longer required to install)
  Convert imported video to Movie Texture for AR video rendering on Windows systems
• Android SDK & JDK
  Use when exporting Android projects and apps through Unity

Step 1. Download Install Unity

Follow the compatibility requirements and go to the Unity website to download and install. At the same time, we recommend that you register your Unity account for better use of the unity development environment.

Step 2. Download and install QuickTime (v1.1.x and later versions without QuickTime installed)

Due to the Unity platform limitations, on Windows systems, you need to install QuickTime to better use the video AR features provided in the HiAR SDK. Be sure to install!

Step 3. Download install Android SDK and JDK

After installing the Android SDK and JDK, Unity can export Android projects and apps and support debug runs directly on Android devices.

Complete

Once the development environment has been built, you can start creating unity projects and importing the SDK.
