Goldendict: a free dictionary Tool

Goldendict is a "dictionary" management software. Why is it called "Dictionary" management software? When you use dictionary software, you can use the massive storage and fast retrieval capabilities of computers to make up for the inconvenience and efficiency of manual dictionary reading. Goldendict can be integrated with dictionaries in stardict, balyon, and other formats. It is only applicable to free dictionaries and has not yet been seen to support commercial dictionaries.

It is worth mentioning that after goldendict is installed, the number of dictionaries provided by default is "zero", but in addition to the most distinctive dictionary, it is the Baike book of Wiki, as long as the network is connected, you can perform a wiki query to list the latest explanations in the Baike book. Because of the cross-platform technology, the memory usage is large. As many as 50 MB on the author's machine, the memory usage exceeds the efficiency standard of the general dictionary, and the interface reflection is also slow, is it a natural deficiency of goldendict !?

Appendix: Usage

1. After obtaining the goldendict, enter the dicts directory, where the dictionary directory is located.

2. Download a third-party dictionary, decompress it, and place it in the dicts directory or any directory (recommended in the program directory)

3. Press F3 to display the dictionsrie dialog box. The files tab page specifies the dictionary directory. This step involves a technique. If you click recursive (recursive) checkbox, it means to Recursively search all the appropriate dictionaries in this directory, eliminating the trouble of joining them one by one.
