Google's 2005 keyword ranking announcement

2005 has become history, and Google has published three annual rankings on its annual popular search keyword platform Google Zeitgeist. The top one in the search rankings is the American rock Day, Jenny Jackson, followed by the human tragedy of New Orleans in August this year.
Zeitgeist is derived from German, meaning "the wisdom, morality, and cultural trend of the times". Google also shows its position as the leader in the search engine industry.
This year's ranking includes the following features:
Myspace.com, a social network with 25 million members, won the "fastest-improving search Award", followed by a new P2P file sharing program Ares, and Baidu ranks third;
IPod is still the most popular among consumer electronic product searches, and four iPod types occupy four of the product rankings;
In the second half of the year, the focus on Wikipedia has soared;
People are more enthusiastic about Briney's than Mariah carey and Shakira );
The broadcast of The Apprentice: Martha Stewart TV series has put more eyes on The CEO of The board of directors of Masha and The billionaire Martha Stewart, donald Trump, a well-known New York real estate agent, fell short;
When people browse news at important times, they seek the BBC instead of CNN;
