At that time, I had an internship in Lujiazui, an investment company, and I felt it was time to start preparing for my graduation work. At that time, I did not take this issue seriously, but I really liked his style and layout. Later, I realized that my personal interests are a small part of my skills. Especially for foreign companies, adding a few simple descriptions after the simple words "basketball and reading" can highlight their cultural heritage or team spirit. However, this is also a "blood lesson" that has come out of contact with several large companies ". In combination with their own professional and personal interests, they are positioned in the financial and market fields, so they all invest in such companies. Soon I began to receive a steady stream of replies and asked me to go to the interview.

I was deeply impressed with the interview several times: in February last September, a foreign bank in Lujiazui asked me to go to the interview. After several rounds of interviews, I was very smooth. Finally, the owner talked with me about salary, it is about one point more than 5000 yuan a month, plus dividends at the end of the year. This is only about ten days after I submitted my first resume, but also the second company after I started the interview. At that time, due to the lack of estimation on the brutal employment situation this year, I also thought this was not the best, so I opened the shelf and said I would like to consider it again. Because I didn't fully communicate with others, this is actually a taboo for employers. I thought I had other ideas, and I finally ended up with it. I regret it for a long time. Lesson 1: if you meet the right and satisfactory requirements, sign the ticket. Don't hesitate or think about the future. Who knows? This makes sense that you will never find the largest wheat spike. Lesson 2: We need to make a full estimation of the development of the situation. After all, when we start looking for a job early, the competition is not so fierce. The more we get back, the harder it is to say. In May last October, a large US company listed in Dow Jones notified me to interview Mt program. After several rounds of tests, interviews, and psychological tests, I was impressed by the rounds of examiners, so that the examiners took the initiative to survive in the last round (including turtles and a niujj from shingabo) I found a few simple conversations with me (because he hasn't talked about it that day ). As a result, the last round of testing turned out to be a role-playing role. Everyone played a member of the board of directors and discussed the company's development strategy in English. You can have a two-way communication with the examiner. You must clearly express your thinking system and strategic ideas in English and debate with others. Although I can still use English, I have never used oral English for a long time because I have been working as an intern in a Chinese investment company, as a result, it was just a stumbling block. After the mood was quickly stabilized, the old man could not find a proper word to express his thoughts. What he had in his stomach could not be found, and he felt so depressed! The lesson is: as a student, some of the software to be prepared is like English. In the last year of looking for a job, you must keep yourself in the best position of your individual, on a phone call, you may have an interview in English. Remember, practice and not practice are totally different! There is also an interview with a securities company research institute in December. Because I felt very bad in the first round of the test, I did not report any hope, so I was surprised when I received the interview notice, and I was a little overestimating myself, I thought that my professional knowledge had been written and I would not ask again, so I didn't make any preparations. On that day, I casually wore a jacket and jeans and went there. As a result, after entering the scene, I found that the company leaders and departments who were sitting on the opposite side were responsible for five suits, I couldn't find my feelings at once. Coupled with the explosive growth of financial and financial knowledge, the company has lost confidence and quick response during interviews. When I came back, I heard my mentor talk about the strength and reputation of this institute in the industry. I am sorry for this discount. The lesson is: before the interview, you should have some understanding of the company, weigh whether you will join the company, and then decide not to go to the interview. Once you decide to go to the interview, you must be fully prepared, including dressing, professionalism, and others. Otherwise, you may regret it when you come back.

There are so many regrets and many successful experiences. For example, a management trainee from a Hong Kong red chip group, I finally persisted through many tests, but I still felt that I was not suitable for its main business field and finally chose to give up. The final offer was also obtained after five rounds of fierce kill. It was the day of signing the contract. A large real estate company in Shanghai informed me that I had passed the preliminary test, ask me to go to the next round of review. Of course, it was a euphemism that declined, and at the same time, I had to express my deep regret that I could not break the road for future teachers and sisters! Haha!

Finally, I would like to talk about some experiences and failures in the entire job search process. Expand them one by one, which is more in line with my personal habits:

1. Birds fly first. You have to take action before the hot job period begins. Not only do you have to prepare your resume and cover letter first, but you have to try some companies first. There are two reasons: first, most people have not started looking for a job yet, and the competition is not so fierce. In this way, you have many opportunities and you can easily choose from them. I remember that when I started to submit my resume in early last September, there was almost a hundred million posts, and I was able to get an offer from one shot. But after entering October, I felt that the situation was quite different, needless to say, after November. Second, with a certain degree of interview experience, you can have more chances to win than new users in the following tests. The direct result is that I have almost never been nervous during my subsequent interviews and can play well on the spot.

2. Be sure to fully prepare your personal image. For example, for fields that you want to engage in the future, you must have sufficient information about the industry over the past year. In addition, you can make your own system through your own summary, in this way, you can stand out during the interview. For example, in terms of oral English and verbal expression, we need to seize all the opportunities on campus to prepare for them in advance. We can build a job group with the same purpose, practice each other, and share information. Creating such an atmosphere is very helpful for individuals. We also need to know what industries and companies need for talent, such as what investment banks need for people, so that we can be targeted during the interview. There is also the need to establish separate personal job search documents and collect relevant information. My computer has established resume (for different industries and positions), skills (interview, test, psychological test), resume production, relevant industry information, company details, BBS, timeliness information and many other directories, respectively save a variety of useful information. Another layer of thinking is to make a general direction for your future career, such as the industry and department. Of course, this is also a process of dynamic correction. in job hunting, as you further grasp the advantages and disadvantages of yourself and further understand the industry, the initial plan may change. However, the consciousness of planning in advance is necessary, which can help you save energy and reduce your detours. I personally feel that the process of looking for a job is, in a sense, to re-recognize myself and work. Taking me as an example, my initial goal was finance and market. However, with the constant self-mining and increasing understanding of the consulting industry, I finally chose the consulting industry, I feel that this is what I really want to be interested in and be good.

3. About your resume. Your resume can be written once and for all, just waiting for a suitable company to invest in it. This requires a process of repeated modification. Suggestion 1: Take a look at your resume, especially those of successful students, and incorporate others' excellent entries, styles, and la s into your resume. Suggestion 2: I have to review my resume after I have submitted a few replies. I have to modify my resume. Because you have accumulated an interview some time ago, you will find some new problems when you read your resume. The final result is that it requires more than one word. It must be absolutely refined, and all personal highlights should be covered. In my personal opinion, my resume was modified nearly 20 times before and after. Although each time it was a minor fix, the final effect was definitely different from that at the beginning. This is especially true when I find a record that has been neglected only after seeing the resume of a registered company employee, the company did not give itself a chance. Finally, a good resume and cover letter cannot guarantee that you will find a good job, but it will certainly bring you more opportunities than others.

4. About job search and interview. You may wonder why I didn't put my job search and resume together, but with my interview. I think the difference between job search and resume is that they have different expressions and logic structures. How can I use a cover letter to grasp the reader's mind in dozens of seconds? How can I use words to attract the interviewer in a few minutes and make him interested in you. I always think that the interviewer, like us, is also an ordinary person with flesh and blood. You must highlight some emotional things that belong to you, so that you can impress the other party. However, do not over-do it. You must master your skills. Otherwise, it will become emotional, but rather annoying. The formula I have concluded is: humanized appeal + experience of demonstrating strength. Your expression needs to hold on to these two aspects at the same time, and repeat it to make it highly generalized and appealing.

5. About the psychological test. Today, companies like this one. I have encountered such tests many times during interviews. This includes personality tests such as the leadership potential test and what kind of multi-blood tests are available. I suggest that you follow your first feeling to enter the information quickly and be realistic. Such tests often have time constraints and don't hesitate to waste time. Later, I asked a friend about psychology tests. He said that he should not always choose some moderate answers, so that the final score may not be too high. Looking back, it seems like this is indeed the case. There are several questions in the leadership potential test. My answers are radical. After the test, no one else will give me the same answers, however, at last, only a few people including me passed the evaluation.

6. About Job Search channels. This is a common problem. It is similar to campus recruitment, job websites, BBS, and social recruitment fairs. I would like to raise two points here. First, many job openings in the Social recruitment fair are not suitable for our fresh graduates, and the on-site atmosphere like the Farmer's Market will blow our self-confidence very much. We will regret it when we come back to think about the opportunity. It is better to calm down and prepare your own materials or collect more relevant information. Second, I want to provide a new idea, that is, take the initiative to attack. Many companies may occasionally lead to job vacancies due to the flow of talent, but you have not started recruitment for various reasons, which depends on your luck. Collect the contact information of the company in the target industry. For example, if you see a good company when reading a newspaper, I will immediately search online and write down its website and contact information. I set up a folder to store this information a year ago. Although it is of little use to me, it is a channel.

7. Because the entire job search process is long and difficult, and setbacks are inevitable, you must establish self-confidence and trust your abilities. Do not be intimidated by one or two attacks. We also need to learn how to decompress ourselves and select appropriate channels for relief. For example, you can talk to a friend and listen to his suggestions. Sometimes you are fascinated by the situation and need to wake up from the perspective of others.
