Almost everyone feels the threat of cancer. Because the number of deaths from drinking cancer is as high as 6.3 million in the world each year, the number of deaths from drinking cancer in China has reached 1.3 million each year, and cancer patients are increasing at a rate of 3% every year, it is equivalent to one out of every 200 families suffering from cancer.

How to prevent and treat cancer has become a matter of increasing concern. The World Health Organization proposed three 1980s strategies to control cancer as early as 1/3. How can this problem be prevented? Not long ago, the Chinese debut and Academic Seminar "Food, Nutrition and cancer prevention" jointly organized by the Chinese Society for cancer and the World Foundation was held in Beijing. At the meeting, 16 famous scientists from 8 countries proposed 14 dietary recommendations for anti-cancer.

1. Arrange diet properly. There should be adequate nutrition in the diet, and the food should be diversified, mainly based on plant foods, and should occupy more than 2/3 of each meal. Plant foods should contain a wide variety of vegetables, fruits, beans, and rough cereals.

2. weight control. To avoid being too light or overweight, you must limit the increase of weight to no more than 5 kg in adulthood. The cause is overweight or obesity. There is a high risk of endometrial cancer, breast cancer, kidney cancer, and colorectal cancer.

3. Exercise. If there are few or only minor activities at work, perform a brisk walking or similar exercise every day. At least one hour of intense exercise is required each week.

4. eat more vegetables and fruits. Insist on eating 400 ~ 800 grams of vegetables and fruits can reduce the risk of cancer by 20%, especially for oral cancer, nasopharyngeal cancer, esophageal cancer, lung cancer, gastric cancer, colon cancer and rectal cancer. Eat five or more vegetables and fruits every day.

5. Eat more starch foods. Eat 600 ~ 800 grams of various cereals, beans, plant roots, the less processed food, the better. To limit the amount of refined sugar, starch in food can prevent colon and rectal cancer, while a high-fiber diet may prevent colon, rectal cancer, breast cancer and pancreatic cancer.

6. Drinking alcohol. We recommend that you do not drink alcohol. Even if you want to drink alcohol, you have to limit men to no more than two cups a day, and women to no more than one cup (a cup of wine is equivalent to 250 ml beer, 100 ml Fruit Wine or 25 ml liquor ). Regular drinking may increase the risk of colorectal cancer, throat cancer, esophageal cancer, primary liver cancer, colon cancer, rectal cancer, and breast cancer.

7. Meat. If you like meat, the amount of red meat should be less than 90 grams per day. It is best to replace red meat with fish, poultry, or wild flavor. Red meat increases the risk of colon, rectal cancer, pancreatic cancer, kidney cancer, prostate cancer, and breast cancer.

8. Fat. Restrict high-fat food, especially animal fat people. Select appropriate vegetable oil and limit the amount.

9. Eat Less salt. Restrict the shooting of pickled food and control the use of cooking salt and seasoning salt. A high-salt diet increases the risk of gastric cancer. The World Health Organization recommends that each person consume less than 6 grams of salt per day.

10. food storage. Do not eat foods that are too long and may be contaminated by real yin toxin at normal temperature.

11. Preservation of perishable food. Store it in cold storage or other appropriate way.

12. Food Additives and residues. Additives, pollutants, and actual residues in food are strictly governed by regulations. They are harmless, but misuse or improper use may affect health.

13. Cooking methods. Do not eat burnt food. Avoid burning meat juice when roasting fish or barbecues. Fish, meat, and bacon that are directly barbecued on fire can only be eaten occasionally. It is best to cook, steam, and stir-fry food.

14. nutritional supplements. For those who follow this recommendation, nutritional supplements are generally not required.
