If there is an empty hard disk space of about 20-30 GB, no matter how you create the space, simply delete the partition at the end of the hard disk, pay attention to data storage, and then partition again, then leave 20 to 30 GB space without partitioning. For example, if my last partition has 100 GB space, we will delete this GB space and then repartition 70 GB space, we can get 30 GB of free space, because the partition has been divided before, so there is no partition content in this article, more related to Baidu!

Open the UltraISO software, find the Ubuntu image file, and use the software to open

2: insert the USB flash drive into the USB port, and choose "start"> "Write hard disk image ".

Then select the drive as the USB flash drive and click write. Wait a few minutes until the boot disk is ready.

After the boot disk is ready, restart the computer and set the first boot option to USB. The setting method for each computer is different. Most laptops can be started by pressing F12.

On the Ubuntu installation page, select Simplified Chinese.

Enable or disable Ubuntu, and then click Enter.

Select Chinese as the installation Language

Connect to the wireless network to download the required plug-in during installation. You can also insert a network cable. The installer will automatically identify the installation process. If there is no network, you just need to ignore the network connection. The installation will not be affected, but there will be more things to install after installation.

Create the root directory, that is, the Linux System Directory, which is equivalent to the C drive of windows. I personally think it is big and 8 GB.

Create the home directory, that is, the user directory, which is about 10 Gb.

Then create a swap partition, which is equivalent to the virtual memory. Click "used", select "swap space", and set the size to MB to 4 GB.

Now that the partition settings are complete, do not forget to choose your hard disk in the "Install Boot boot device" at the bottom. Otherwise, the computer will not start after you install the USB flash drive.

Install now

Point to continue, and then set the geographic location to Beijing

Continue, set the keyboard layout to us-English

Continue, and set your username, computer name, password, and password.

Click Next to start the installation. According to the computer performance and network conditions, the installation process takes about 40 minutes or more.

After a long wait, the following interface is displayed, and the installation is completed by clicking restart.

After restarting, we will find that the menu has changed. At the top is the Ubuntu startup item, and at the bottom is the Windows 7 startup Item

Select the first item and press enter to start Ubuntu. The following page shows that Ubuntu has been successfully installed on our machine.
